Last week's heavy snow caused the cancellation or postponement of a number of activities and events, including kickoff rallies planned for the Arlington and Marysville Relay for Life organizations.
A Disney-themed parade organized by the Arlington-Smokey Point Relay for Life, originally planned for Jan. 21 in Arlington as part of the kickoff activities, will be rescheduled in the spring, although a specific date hasn't been set yet.
The Arlington registration kickoff has been moved to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7, at Stillaguamish Senior Center, 18308 Smokey Point Blvd. The Arlington relay is scheduled for June 23 at Arlington High School.

The Marysville-Tulalip Relay for Life, which will take place June 9 at Marysville-Pilchuck High School, will host its kickoff event Wednesday, Feb. 8, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express just off 88th Street in Marysville. The goal is to establish 35 teams for the fundraising event.
